I know, I know, I said just the other day that self-congratulation ain’t my bag, but I’ve just found some lovely things written about us on this old World Wide Web thing and come over all flushed and giddy. I’ve got to share these links with someone before I turn into a gibbering idiot, and here seems as good a place as any…
Susan Hill has reviewed Virginia Woolf’s The Platform of Time and Graham Greene’s No Man’s Land, and hinted at some of the trials and tribulations of being a small publisher – I think ‘uphill struggle’ were her words, and some days that doesn’t feel too far from the truth.
Meanwhile, it seems that we Hesperettes are muse material, as Simon over at Stuck In A Book has gone as far as to produce a sketch inspired by our titles, potentially to the detriment of his final examinations. At least you can rest assured, Simon, that it was all in a very good cause indeed.
Danielle at A Work in Progress also had some lovely things to say, and we’re looking forward to working with her in the future.
Finally (of those that I’ve found, at least) Harriet Devine has reviewed both Sanctuary by Edith Wharton and Colonel Chabert by Balzac.
And all of that’s to say nothing of being one of Mark Thwaite’s favourite publisher blogs… If anyone sees me on the Piccadilly Line this evening, feel free to take a pin to my head – might reduce the swelling.

PS. If I’ve missed anyone out, do point me in the right direction – I’m still grappling with bloglines.
